The answer is no…
…WE HAD A CRAZY SUPER AWESOME TIME!!!
Our 2023 Scramble for Hope golf outing was an overwhelming success, and I couldn’t be happier, or more grateful! The day was filled with fun, laughs, camaraderie, and most importantly, FUNDRAISING! With 204 golfers, our amazing volunteers, and the generous support of our sponsors, we were able to raise over $80,000 to further our mission of igniting hope in our community.

The atmosphere on the golf course was electric, and the energy was palpable. And our Hole Hecklers were ROCKSTARS! They kept all our golfers on their toes and kept everyone’s energy at an all-time high the entire day. It was motivating and inspiring to see our community come together to support Fund a Life and all of our grant recipients - past, present, and future.
To all who attended, your enthusiasm and dedication made this year's Scramble for Hope event one to remember, and we couldn't have done it without each and every one of you.
I especially want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to all our sponsors, who played a vital role in making this event such a triumph. Special thanks to TLC Real Estate, our phenomenal presenting partner, for their unwavering support. Magic Windows, our happy hour sponsor, and Mugg and Bopps, our beverage sponsor, helped make the outing one to remember for all of our golfers and friends. It's through these partnerships that we can continue to make a significant impact on the lives of those in need.
So, what’s next?!
We have more exciting events and opportunities coming up, and we hope you'll join us as we continue to light the way for those in our community who need it most. Because the truth is, for so many of the individuals and families we support, their battles can feel like a never-ending marathon…an uphill battle…a run through hell.
So on Monday October 30th, we’re going to give them our support at our second annual Run Thru Hell 5k! This nighttime run will be lit - literally - with glow sticks and flashlights, when we hit the ground running in Hell, MI at 7pm. In addition to the 5k, there’ll be event t-shirt & age group awards, adult & kid best costume awards, and a 1-mile candy dash run/walk. After the run, we’ll dole out awards, have fun, and celebrate our mission!
Registration is now open (including child, student, & group discounts!), so mark your calendars - because this event is going to rock your socks off and make a huge difference in the lives of those who need it most.
And we know it’s hard to believe, but Giving Tuesday, the world’s biggest day of giving, is also right around the corner, on November 28th. We're actively seeking matching partners and sponsors who will match donations made on this day. Plan to join us live from Brighton Coffee House and Theater as we actively fund lives throughout the day. Let's come together and make Giving Tuesday 2023 one for the books!
Why are we putting all our focus on maximizing our fundraising as we round the corner into the fourth quarter of 2023? The reality is that the demand for Fund a Life grants is higher than ever, with applications coming in daily.
