What is Senior survivor
Senior Survivor is a week-long competition where seniors form teams, complete challenges, and raise money for charities competing to make the biggest impact.
At Brighton High School, it has become a signature senior experience. Students do not just participate. They lead, organize, promote, and compete.
The last big moment before graduation, a memory that stays with you
Part school spirit week, part competition, part purpose, all heart
High energy, a little chaotic, and deeply emotional in the best way
Students going all in for something bigger than themselves
Student-led. Community-powered.
Senior Survivor is run by students, not handed to them. Teams compete across three areas and competition drives everything
Student Leadership
Seniors organize, fundraise, promote, and lead the entire week. Every decision flows from student initiative. This is run by students.
Team Competition
Teams go head to head through fundraising totals, daily challenges, and creative events. The energy is real and so is the drive to win.
Real Impact
Teams go head to head through fundraising totals, daily challenges, and creative events. The energy is real and so is the drive to win.
Two organizations. One community.
This year Brighton seniors are raising money for two nonprofits rooted in showing up for people when it matters most.
Fund a Life
Fund a Life provides urgent financial grants to individuals and families facing life-altering hardship, helping restore stability, dignity, and hope when it is needed most. Every dollar raised through goes directly toward families in crisis across Michigan.
Children’s Healing Center
The Children's Healing Center provides year-round recreation and programming for individuals ages 0 to 26 with weakened immune systems. Free programs and hospital-grade cleanliness make healing possible for the whole family.
The community shows up.
Senior Survivor is not just for seniors. It is a moment where Brighton comes together, with students, families, businesses, and neighbors rallying behind something meaningful. There are several ways to support the week and help Fund a Life make the most of it. Visit the official Senior Survivor page to see every way you can participate.
