Meet Amanda Mutschler

Amanda Mutschler is a mother of four and a dedicated nurse who was diagnosed with Triple Negative invasive ductal carcinoma, an aggressive breast cancer, in 2019. Since her diagnosis, Amanda has undergone multiple rounds of chemo, a mastectomy and hysterectomy, and radiation to her chest that left her with 3rd degree burns. Through all of this, Amanda has remained a source of light for those around her, keeping her focus on faith, family, and gratitude. In 2021, she began experiencing seizures, and underwent surgery to remove a brain tumor.

Amanda is currently back on chemo in a battle for her life. Fund a Life is honored to have awarded this young mother with annual grants since the start of her journey, beginning with a $6,000 grant in 2020.
