how to launch your fundraiser

Start by setting a goal for your fundraiser, whether it’s a specific dollar amount or a number of participants. Choose the type of event you’d like to host and decide when and where it will take place. Both in-person and virtual fundraisers are great options, so plan what feels right for you and your community.

Invite others to get involved and help spread the word. Share your event with friends, family, and social media followers, and tag Fund a Life so we can celebrate your efforts too. Lead with heart, stay flexible, and have fun bringing your fundraiser to life.

Fundraiser Toolkit FAQs

Getting Started

  • Not exactly. This toolkit gives you the freedom to plan your event your way, but we ask that you submit your fundraiser concept before launching so our team can stay connected and offer guidance if needed.

  • Not at all. The ideas in this toolkit are meant to inspire you. Feel free to design a fundraiser that fits your personality, business, or community.

Donations & Logistics

  • We would love to collect your donation in person. When your fundraiser wraps up, email skramer@fundalife.org to schedule a visit from our team. If meeting in person is not possible, you can mail your donation to 209 W Main St #105, Brighton, MI 48116, or submit a lump-sum donation online through our website.

  • If you would like a representative to attend, contact Director of Development Shevalla Kramer at skramer@fundalife.org. We love being part of community fundraisers and will do our best to support your event however we can. While Mark’s availability varies, our team will always try to be involved whenever possible.
