SEPTEMBER 11, 2026 HOWELL, MICHIGAN
Together We Remember
This September, our community is coming together in remembrance, reflection, and healing through a meaningful day of shared experiences and connection.
About this day
In partnership with local organizations, faith leaders, schools, and community groups, this special initiative will create space for music, conversation, service, and togetherness as we honor the lives impacted by September 11 and the strength of community that carries us forward.
From a commemorative ceremony at the Howell Library, to student-led conversations at Howell High School, to more than 5,000 picnic baskets being prepared for neighbors to gather and share a meal, this day is designed to bring people together in unity and hope.
Local pastors and leaders will also be offering opportunities for congregations and families to engage in healing-centered programming and reflection.
